In the healthy condition of man, the spiritual vital force (autocracy), the dynamis that animates the material body (organism), rules with unbounded sway, and retains all the parts of the organism in admirable, harmonious, vital operation, as regards both sensations and functions, so that our indwelling, reason-gifted mind can freely employ this living, healthy instrument for the higher purpose of our existence.
[If I may inject a little bit of additional philosophy!
If you consider mankind, you would see the whole of the creation broadly reflected in it.
There are some that are like stones, some that are like vegetables, and in the animal group you would see people who have the characteristics of various animals. For example those who behave like an ant, a bee, a wolf, a snake, a scorpion, a mouse, a lion, a fox, a sheep, a goat and so on.
The aim is of course to become a TRUE HUMAN with a little animal characteristics as possible.
There is an old Farsi adage that states "Healthy mind in a health body."]
