Just checked in a little reference book I use all the time - "Remedy
Relationships" by Thomas Blasig and Peter Vint.
States that Apis and Phos are inimical and references it to John Henry
Clarke, A Clinical Repertory and to Sankaran, The Clinical Relationship of
Homeopathic Remedies.
Regards,
Ginny

Best to leave the patch alone. Skin symptoms after amelioration of more central symptoms are a good sign.
Another thing to note, looking at the symptoms from a fresh view is always good because we somehow get ourselves into a rut with cases we have been treating over time and think we 'know' them well.
I have a patient I would never have thought to give pulsatilla to and one day I just retook the whole case and gave her pulsatilla . She was having some stomach problems which were persitent for two months .
After pulsatilla, a diarrhea she had just before her stomach problem started came back and went away taking with it the stomach pains etc.
regards
Suriya

Yes I see it in Sankaran now thanks. In Murphy (not sure if the source is Boericke or Clarke) it is mentioned that Phos follows Apis well in diphtheria - so there must be a 'happier' relationship between the 2 rx at some point.
