If I were you, I would get to an osteopath or cranio-sacral therapist to have evrything checked out and put back into alignment.
Sound like you've had a pretty bad shock to your whole system, (and have you considered Hypericum to 'reground' you, as the shock will surely have affected your spine) and a few months down the line you might well end up with a frozen shoulder (exactly the same accident happened to my husband)
Homeopathy is great for dealing with the shock, and helping bruising and bone healing, but if you have put something out of true, then only manipulation will sort you out properly.

liz - you have made a very sensible suggestion but unfortunately the only therapist i trust who i go to regularly for both is taking her maternity at her house in goa. i have e mailed to ask when she is returning.

I use two Osteopaths in Essex who are both excellent and would recommend them without hesitation.
Other colleagues may be able to recommend some one nearer to you. Do not leave a spine/neck / head which may have gone out of balance.

I personally believe that cranial osteopathy is a brilliant as an adjunct to homeopathy and always recommend new mums to have their babies checked out. I shall certainly have cranial treatment when my elbow is better but which time I hope the practitioner I use is back as I don't think her substitute does it.
My arm is far less achy today so far . Will go to symphytum 6 and calc phos 6 tds from today. Was meant to be seeing my homeopath today in Manchester and am still trying to contact her to see if we can do a phone consult as no way can I get there as I can't drive and won't be able to get there in time via public transport as I have a new patient in this morning.

I didn't say it wasn't brilliant just wondering why anything other than homeopathy required - some believe that more than one healing process at a time can interfere with the other/s - seen it many times. Joy

while the tendency on this list is to protect homeopathy from
contagion of other protocols, there is another perspective to
look at. it is often true the homeopathy augments the effectiveness
of other protocols. years ago i noticed that chiropractic work has
much greater impact when on a good remedy. my chiro at first ignored
me, but later on reported others informing him of the same phenomenon.
i would imagine the same would hold true for protocols such as
osteopathy or cranial work.

I had a case where all the good work was almost totally reversed through two sessions of cranio-sacral (although I know some people swear by the synergy between the two modalities). It was very frustrating, and very difficult to get the px back on track. Chiropractic definitely seems to work well alongside homeopathy - I have seen that as well.

I think different people respond in different ways to mixing modalities - I think it's also necessary to take into account how long they've been in homeopathic treatment before adding something else in, and by the same token how long they have been in treatment with other methods before starting homeopathy. Another px had been using cranio-sacral for a while before starting homeopathy, and the treatment didn't seem to interfere. On the other hand, she was complaining that the cranio-sacral wasn't as effective as it usually is - go figure!

If it is a mechanical displacement, then Homeopathy cannot rectify it. It will require physical manipulation.

A fracture is a mechanical displacement, surgery causes all sorts of mechanical displacement of organs, there are very many indications of 'dislocations' in the MM's. Of course Homeopathy can cure.
