Absolutely! This and other homeopathic lists have lost many valuable contributors over the years. They get tired of the content that deteriorates to the lowest common denominator, and tired of constantly debating with those who encourage this to happen. Can anyone remember the old Pegasus days? ...aaah.
Sadly, people who contribute most to a list like this obviously can't be busy with homeopathy, while those who work day in and day out with homeoapthy don't have as much time to contribute. As a result, some of the best stuff never sees the light of day while some of the worst always does.
I think it is correct to say that most of us sit on this list because we like being part of a homeopathic community and want to learn more about homeopathy - and that gems do pass through the list from time to time.
The list's appeal is not the eclectic material, interesting though this may be, but its homeopathic content - and the more rigorous and true this content is, the greater its appeal, even for proud mongels. If this were not so, those of an eclectic bent would leave this list and head off to the numerous ones available that are much better at providing it - but they don't.
Having said that, some seem hell-bent on killing the goose that lays the golden egg. They want to be on this list to benefit from the good homeopathic information that is passed to them but still argue in favour of practices that are clearly non-homeopathic. For this reason, some who could share so much that would be valuable to them and others become tired and disheartened and go elsewhere - and so the goose is killed.
