Remedy out of music?

I wish this site had that feature where you could go back within seconds,
minutes or a couple of days and add or delete things. That way if someone
gets hot headed and says more than they feel they should have...they can go
back and fix things to their liking. Or add something without taking up more
space. Anyway, in light of the current conversations i probably should give
the mazurka to several people, myself included, before i give it to the seven
year old. I suppose you all think i'm trying to be funny..but i'm serious.
Okay, maybe i'll just give it to myself. I've heard that if a parent cures
themselves of something in the subconscious..that sometimes, automatically,
the children(and/or grandchildren) will be cured...through some kind of
osmosis/energy field . I'm probably going to want to delete this post in a few
seconds but it will be too late.

There's always Carcinosin, or Thuja, or Ignatia, some of the natrums or a whole host of other remedies that already have weeping from music. But wouldn't you be wanting to ask why, not so much about that piece of music but why there is such a need to weep - the music just being the vehicle that allows this to happen.

That need to delete (and yet cannot) is very much a Natrum theme.

Have you been reading George Orwell's 1984 again?

Sankaran (sorry - dirty word?!) has made remedies out of music. I have the set of tapes - never tried them.

Yes indeed, he used the Ragas . I heard him say so in a seminar.
He prescribed specific ragas for specific conditions. I do not think it was potentised or made into a remedy.
I think it is useful to know . Certain music creates certain moods and music that is homeopathic to the mood is a similimum.
Do you wonder why some people love sad movies ?

By the way ,I think Sankaran has some very good ideas but his homeopathy is advanced , not for newbies.

well, for me it was because my parents divorced when i was nine...but the
granddaughter has no such reason and the piteous/heart breaking crying started
when she was one year old and was leaving my house and didn't want to go...and
it continues today from any situation she is in and doesn't want to
leave(seven, now). You'd think she was being separated from her parents or her
loved ones forever.

Dear Carol

One useful concept from Sankaran is that of delusion.
In your case, the situation was real because there was a real incident . In the case of the baby , it is a delusion and is based on somebody else's situation which has been impressed upon her vital force and to her it is just as real. Something may have happened that triggered an emotion that had been wired into her brain by something that the mum experienced while carrying her ( being pregnant with her) .

In my experience , babies are sensitive to emotion and the emotional energy of the environment and will become angry , frustrated , sad etc because they can feel it and they just express themselves showing what they are feeling. In families this dynamics can be seen when parents are having a 'cold war', the children express it by fighting .
So in this case , based on the way she cries and the emotion being expressed one could use mind symptoms such as ailments from grief etc.
You could also use the delusion rubrics .

Genetic memory might play a part - why can we not inherit memory as well as other disease susceptibilities. Her case needs to be taken, hopefully find a good homeopath for that.

i remember being taught that miasms are like an energetic
taint that can be transmitted through the generations.
then in 2007 there was the pbs documentary one epigenetics
that spoke to the actual physical impact on dna by emotional
or physical trauma. so why wouldn't this child's behavior be
understood in relation to parental trauma?
i also recall a case of a young boy, about age 9 or 10. his
teeth came in black and rotted from the time he was a baby.
the case revealed the trauma his mother went through when
she was pregnant and the remedy related to that parent's state.
there are probably numerous cases with this kind of dynamic.

Hmm

Ponos-Primary altered state- the real underlying hidden disease

Pathos is what we see ..

So in the child who is suffering and crying, this is the pathos which we have to use as a clue to the underlying ponos.

We do not actually have to know the ponos, just follow the clues of the pathos and it will unravel , just like Ardavan showed us....

Yes, looks like it can be explained as such Luise.
