evidence of past lives

Normally, with things where there is no evidence which can be relied upon either way, we treat the matter with scepticism, and certainly do not make judgements based on it regarding our patients. If we were meant to refer to any life we may (or may not) have led in the past to enable us to live our present lives, there would be a much clearer way of recollecting what happened in this life - it would be part of our normal memory. As it is not, that suggests to me that, although it may be of interest to some people to consider the possibility of past lives, our present life judgements are not meant to be based on any assumptions we may make about this. There are people who, apparently, claim to remember past lives, but there are also people who think that, for example, their dreams, are real. This is not what I would call reliable evidence. Many people who are spiritual enough to be able to tell the future and speak to spirits are not at all sure that the past exists on a spirit level, in any case. What about this idea - where time is synchronicitous on a spiritual level. There seems to me to be at least as much evidence for that as there is of past lives. Free will certainly doesn't depend on whether or not you had a past life.
