Sunburn

Hello,
I have been reading the sunburn posts and I thank everyone again for answering my questions. I did want to mention why I put the diluted cantharis on the burn. I saw in Kunzli several years ago that remedies can be used topically as well as orally but aside from that information I had a personal experience that showed that application to the skin might be useful. Someone said that he had "wrenched something" in his chest and shoulders when he was turning the steering wheel on his car (the power steering had failed). I put an arnica pellet in water and used dose cups because giving the pellets under the tongue can cause aggravations for this person. After giving him the remedy I applied the remainder of the water to his chest. Within minutes the pain was gone. I think that the application to the localized area of pain sped the process along but I don't know whether the remedy alone or the wash did the trick. So I have no validation other than my personal experience.
Thanks,
Gail
