Homeopaths do it with potency -- bumpersticker!

Shannon asked where she could get the above bumpersticker. I had a bunch printed several years ago...and I still have some left. $2 each.

I also have: "Homeopathy: Medicine for the 21st Century"

I like the bumper sticker campaign for its simplicity.
The bumper sticker in the UK is going to just say
Homeopathy Heals. I am hoping they send me a pdf file
for the bumper sticker that we can see over here in the US. For
that matter, a pdf file can be sent to people in many
countries for local reproduction and distribution.
The idea was not to make money, but to counter the
atttacks against homeopathy in the media which won't
print our responses.
Dana, I think the bumper stickers you have are great but I am
not sure that uninformed people would get it. It feels too much
like an 'in' joke.
And wouldn't it be a neat idea if these samw bumper stickers began
to show up in many countries? Marketing is all about repetition!
Distribution is a question. Perhaps all the homepathic
schools will sign on for a distribution campaign. And
then there are the regional and national conferences.
Perhpas vendors other than HES would also distribute them
with orders. I am sure there are other good ideas out
there.

Agree with you Tanya - marketing = repetition. I was thinking of a sticker that just says "I Love Homeopathy". Don't worry about the uniformed people. Acoording to the 75/20/5 rule they probably will never get it anyway.

I did hear of one that cleverly said, "Homeopathy cured the likes of me" but this would not be particularly good for improving public awareness.

'Homeopathy Heals' is good.

And having variety of stickers is all to the better, IMO. Including
some that will be "gotten" by some people and not by others! Some
people definitely relate better to "jokes."

I like that one!
I think that, as with the "potency" line, sure some people won't get
it, but for those that do, the joke makes it more powerful and
memorable. (I can imagine someone wondering at the odd phrasing, then
reading about "like cures like" and suddenly flashing on the
sticker--*that* would be good marketing! Ditto for the "with potency"
one.)

The SoH sell a few but I find them quite dreary and unimaginative - those for kids are a good idea though.

Joy,
Being in the UK you might want to hook up with the ARH-media@yahoogroups.com
project based over there. They are the ones that are working
on the bumper sticker design which is just about in place. There isn't
much to do on that. They are looking to raise some funds for
printing. There is a woman in the group that is collecting funds.
If you, or anyone else for that matter, is interested in her contact
information, let me know and I will ask if I can give out her personal
e-mail.

There was one in UK a few years back that said - "Homeopathy - a little goes a long way." I have it on a T shirt!!

all these quippy sayings are great. and t-shirts are
fun. have a few of those myself. but we need much
more.
what is happening now is a concerted effort to
create a major marketing campaign for the public at
large. any study of the reactionary tactics show that
you need a very simple and direct image that can be
taken in by as broad a base as possible. and it needs
repetitive reinforcement until it becomes part of the
brain's information.
so for today, this bumper sticker has been organized
and has the support of quite a few people. money is
already being collected to support the printing. i would
really love to see this come together in numerous
countries. i can't think of anything more dramatic
than sitting at a traffic light with this simple
message in my face and seeing this numerous times in
different places.
and it really doesn't take much. i have 1 business
vehicle that for years had a sign on it. i drove it
around town(s). people would come up to me saying they
see my trucks all over the place. that was great. they
got the message that this business had many vehicles so
must be quite successful. great marketing! that's what
we need to do and cute or intellectual inside jokes are
not on target, me thinks.
other marketing campaigns for our message can be organized
in time.
