Hi Luise,

I tried to do the case. I have never done an old case like this, but
seems like a worthy thing to try. Especially since I am interested in
the Boenninghausen method. Please tell me your thoughts.

The first 3 rubrics are in B;s The Pocket Rep so you get Cocc. The
other rubrics from the Synthesis lead to other remedies. Oleand has
only the hard stools and paralysis of limbs. Don't know the rubric
for desires warm rooms.

How strange to have dreams as a symptom?

I guess painless paralysis is the key symptom. Probably SRP?? The
hard stool constipation is slightly higher than Rhus-t so cocc comes
out ahead. I guess Rhus-t is out of the race because he is depressed
and dwelling on the past not angry.

You have the note ( Caust 3, Sep. 1 Sil 3 - Plumb Puls.) ?? Is this
what you repped? If I remove the non-Boenninghausen rep symptom, Cocc
comes out on top with ars, Nux-v, Rhus-t and plumb. Any of those
could be angry. Is Cocc angry. I can understand that dreams might
prevent him from sleeping and therefore cocc is sleepless. But that
is not stated in the text. He might be quiet as a nurse or a
psychoanalysts wanting to listen (Gandgeorge in Vermeulen)

Oleander is chilly weak and intolerant of contradictions. THe other
high ranking remedies are too. Those are such common symptoms, I am
not sure how you would do the case. Oleander also has the weakness
from staying up nursing others and it is complementary to cocc.
Vermeulen lists only diarrehoe for oleander, but apparently it hard
stool constipation too.

Was 30c considered a high potency at that time?

Best,
Ellen

Dear Luise,
I went to the bottom of the Preface page and went into the cases.
There was only one case there. There was some description of how you
translate. Maybe I did not go deep enough. Anyway, that is what I
worked on. It was very interesting.
Blessings,
Ellen
