Irene: I am curious since you have knowledge and experience with the blood
type diet, as well as many other modalities, and homepathy. Do you(or others)
ever consider using the worse from bread rubric for people who have gluten
problems? Good diet was emphasized by the early homeopaths...but did they
even have a concept of gluten intolerance? Since so many people have this
problem...does it need to be incorporated into a homeopathic prescription as a
main complaint or concomitant? While correct remedy should address healing of
gut....i wonder if it ever leads to a situation where one can eat wheat/gluten
and not have harmful effects....meaning that a change in how our blood reacts
with food. I've always had intermittant problems with ice cream. Sometimes in
the last 50 years i could eat it with no problems. Other times I would get
horrible cramps . I guessing that homeopathic care determined which response i
might have. That doesn't necessarily mean that no response to ice cream meant
that i had no internal/not seen.. bad reaction..but who knows. i know there is
a difference in how wheat used to affect me. I used to get distended,
digestive problem and gain weight. Last summer when i went on a wheat binge
after years of not eating it...i didn't get distended...but i definately was
in a bad mood..irritated and impatient..for a few days after...and still..the
weight gain. A good question is how many chronic symptoms that people have are
related to food...and should not (or should be?) treated by homeopathy but
should be addressed with a change in diet.
