Everyone should read it more than once, there is a-lot of valuable info to be gleaned here, not just intellectual views for and against homeopathy and alternative therapies. Interesting that Hahnemann is called a visionary. The airplay that the Financial Times receives is vast, especially since it is primarily focused on investors, economics and the financial community at high levels.

Without any insider info or timeframe, I predict here, that Boiron will be purchased or face a hostile take over by a much larger pharmaceutical company. Homeopathy won't cease to exist but we may not all like the future outcome. The more studies showing efficacy of homeopathy on cancer cells, the sooner it will happen.

Now, Davidius, I feel your fervor but disagree with the counter-culture anti-establishment manner you express it. I don't think that is the wisest approach to deal with this worsening situation and it has not and will not produce a positive resolution. While I agree about the $$$ central focus of big pharma, as a mandatory consumer of it, I can say it can work as prescribed and keep one alive and functioning until the classical homeopathic "cure" kicks in. Even in one of your posts, you say curing diabetes takes "awhile". What do you expect one should do, let their blood glucose run rampant, furthering deterioration, while one waits for "awhile" to come? Even Dr. Ramakrishnan, who has assured me he can cure diabetes, says it will take 2 years. Well, one has little choice then but to utililze allopathy, and some of it does work well, side effects and all. Since he claims 100's of cured cases including cancer and you have not publically produced or published one of your own, of diabetes or cancer, I have to defer to him and put my faith in his innovation of classical homeopathy which some may argue is not.

Second, Davidius, you may have heard about Sarah Jane Moore this week. She attempted to assassinate President Gerald Ford in 1975, two weeks after Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme tried. She's out on mandatory parole after 32 years in jail, 7 years in solitary, with a brief few hour escape, and was on the NBC Today show this week her first public airing. Interesting to listen to someone who went from anti-establishment beliefs and "genuinely thought" by assassinating Ford it would "trigger a revolution" to reflecting back on whether she was correct in thinking and acting. She "let herself be used" and "believe things perhaps more deeply than other people". Look at her now, she could pass for a BIH tutor.
