For goodness sake it is a movie!!!!! Anyone using a movie to
determine a particular course of action re any mental or medical
condition has bigger problems to address - here is the credit that
accompanies the film: "The film is inspired by events in the life of
John Forbes Nash, Jr., and in part based on the biography A Beautiful
Mind, by Sylvia Nasar" They are not claiming anything more than
that - why is everyone else???

do not underestimate the impact of mass media. as marshall mccluan wrote years ago "the media is the message" and too much research has been done that has proven this true. in a time when homeopathy is struggling for recognition and the allopathic fields are trashing the work we do, it is not 'just a movie.' it is the promotion of ideas though visual, auditory and emotional impact.
