Cann I and Hepatitis!!?

A friend sent this interesting bit about one of the genuine *uses* of
cannabis, and I thought it might be worth passing along.

"In 1971 I had hepatitis (presumably A; they didn’t distinguish then,
at least not [where she lived]. had had a baby early in the year.
I also had malaria (first, the way it is) and was desperately ill.
Thought I was going to die. It was treated with huge injections of what
they said was “vitamins” and bed rest. When I was able to go home, a
colleague went to the market and bought me a newspaper roll of
marijuana. He was Pakistani and said that in his home area they eat
marijuana to cure hepatitis. I needed to go back to work, so I crumbled
a tsp. of the leaves over rice however many times a day he said. Within
a week, when I went back for blood tests (bilirubin or whatever) my
tests were normal. I never felt any reaction to the marijuana. Weird
but true. I was 28 and never used m. before nor since."
Just FWIW!
