LSD-25 was delusions black birds

This symptom about the black bird is in the raw proving data, not in
the (fairly detailed) abstract
http://www.hominf.org/lsd/lsdframe.htm

Lest anyone be confused, fear is not a defining theme of LSD; less so
than perhaps:

Sacred, in the sense of inspiring awe and reverence for nature. This
state is coupled with supreme well being.
Peace & Love
Connection
Truth

In the proving, the analogy is made to "ergotism" (ergot being the
wheat mold from which LSD was first synthesized)
-with ergotism being also known as "St Anthony's fire" ..
"From the perspective of LSD it is interesting to note that the
hallucinogenic torments that St Anthony experienced were almost
equally divided between the taunts of the most horrible demons and the
temptations of the most beautiful women and sensual delights. The
temptations and torments have been a favourite subject for artists and
writers, most notably Bosch and Flaubert.

from this, and from reading the proving, one may develop an
understanding that either
extremes of
Fear or Ecstasy, or
great sense of Spiritual connectedness
...are all symptoms of LSD.

The proving more or less bears out similiarity to the material dose of LSD.

If I were to sum it up in a one-liner, I'd say that

there is an experience / conviction /sensation / utter sense of
reality ... whereby everything one feels is far more potent than in
daily consciousness.

This goes for fear, no doubt-- there can be the most intense panic
one could imagine; the heart can feel as if it will burst from the
hammering induced by fear; death is imminent.

Conversely, there can be the feeling that the universe is perfection;
when focussing on any part of it, one can see how that part is
"perfectly connected" to all of the rest or creation .. a sense of
holos .. and holographic vision (both mentally and visually.)

LSD would not be something I'd be considering in the case recently
posted with possible Med proving /engraftment.
