I'm curious whether anyone here has treated someone before and after a
surgical implant (specifically the titanium and steel type, but also
curious about any), and see it affect the ongoing case? i had an
"interesting" experience with pins-and-a-plate placed on a snapped leg
(first question is how useful it actually *is* to do that--found out
later that my brother had had a similar injury, but fixed with a simple
"walking cast" and healed much faster than I did!). A year and a half
later I *finally* realized I was having systemic reaction to the
titanium and steel implants, and had them out.

The thing that was especially curious to me: I felt MUCH better
starting almost immediately after the removal; energy began picking up,
certain symptoms became less, then stopped. But some weeks
after--maybe a month or so?--I had a very sudden shift which basically
felt as though several decades worth of healing work--remedies,
meditation, bodywork, and various etc.--had been wiped completely away,
landing me very suddenly back in a type and degree of deep imbalance
that I hadn't had to deal struggle with since high school days. Wow,
how weird. Revisiting past remedies (and some new ones) has pulled
things back together--I think I've just about caught up with myself
:-) --but it's made me *SO* curious about the situation. Has anyone
here followed anyone thru a titanium-steel implant (or any, for that
matter), to notice if there were any constitutional effects?

Does anyone know of any generalizations that might suggest which people
are more prone to that sort of thing?

Thanks for any thoughts,
Shannon

Can think of quite a few (not all treated by me), massive antidoting and if they were already in place made the cases very difficult to see (over and above the normal difficult cases), well indicated remedies not working and things like that. Will have to check specifics but I would say the Tubercular range will be most reactive. not just implants though, the recent discussion about MRI's and CT scans etc but you could extend this to almost any device that has some form of radioactivity and titanium is everywhere. Probably contributes to the overall suggestion of what rx one needs when the sensitivity is above normal, whatever normal is.

Yes, titanium *in* the body is a big problem. Worn in jewelry is Ok though. I've seen the same issue with well indicated remedies not working like they should.

This is fascinating. I have several individuals for whom well indicated remedies were not working - but for whom the same remedy worked well in very low potencies - and simply needed repeating often. I assumed it had something to do with the trauma and medications of proceedures as well as nervous system irritations from the implanted bits and pieces - and never suspected the pins and plates themselves. Do you attribute the problem to the material itself, an alteration of the normal electric field and function of the body, or ?????? Do you find the problem is different if the implants are stainless steel or titanium or ceramic?

Then does it seem to you (Liz, Joy and anyone) that they will
*commonly* interfere? Do you know if you've had some patients with
implants who were easy enough to prescribe for, responded well, etc.?
I'm realizing I have not made a habit of specifically asking after
surgeries etc., and now I'll make sure to!

In my case it definitely was the material itself. I had similar
reaction to the staples used to close the wound; the nurse said they
hear that a lot, and attribute it to physical irritation. I tell ya
those staples definitely *are* physically irritating (I kept repressing
urges to rip them out with my teeth! LOL), but my reactions to the
implants were also systemic, going way beyond what could be explained
that way (besides the sensations, also an ongoing sense of slowness,
inner heaviness, skirting the edge of exhaustion for no good apparent
reason). It felt to me that the staples had some of that type of
disturbance too, in addition to the mechanical irritation.

When the stuff was removed, it was as tho a breath of blessed relief
went thru me, and for weeks, months, I kept periodically marveling at
how, well, *normal*, free, unencumbered I was finally, suddenly,
feeling again. Whew, makes you appreciate the little things in life!
:-) (Do they make ceramic implants? The *sounds* like it would be
less troublesome...?)

It is like anything - individuality, so not everyone will express sx of a problem with them - and on a par with mercury fillings etc. They are 'poisonous' and shouldn't be there so rational to expect problems in those who cannot tolerate. I will have to pull out some cases but I remember one where someone presented with migraines and it was after several rx with no help and a really extra careful new case taking that the implants got mentioned. I had not asked about any accidents (normally do) and if you miss this you can miss the maintaining cause, dead easy.

As I said I think the tubercular remedies/miasm, as they often present a certain level of extreme sensitivity, may be more reactive but only a rule of thumb. Total cure might not be possible for someone who has them and shown to have a problem but cannot or will not have them removed?

Almost a proving, wonder how you'd react to the potentised form :-)

yes there are ceramic implants.

I have been wondering about lens implants, Jean

I've been wondering the same! I suppose I can't assume it's the
titanium I reacted to. I see "steel" defined as "an alloy of iron with
small amounts of carbon"; doesn't *sound* like trouble, so maybe
titanium is the most likely culprit. Not many rubrics for it in my
rep, but 'll read more as I can...
