PhD in Homeopathy
Level: Postgraduate Education

You need: 200 Points

Duration: 3 years
The Ph.D. degree in Homeopathic Medicine is a postgraduate programme designed for serious candidates who want to add something in their own name to current homeopathic literature beside consolidating the homeopathic knowledge and earning a prestigious certificate. It could be achieved by completing an original research and attending some taught credits.
This postgraduate opportunity starts with some general credits to consolidate and unify the backgrounds of candidates before starting intensive education and training in advance level and finally ends by writing the final thesis. Also, students in the Ph.D. Program take additional coursework in research and statistics. They need to prepare and defend an online tele-dissertation before a doctoral committee composed of at least two faculty members with doctoral degrees.

Eligibility Criteria

We accept applicants from two different backgrounds:

Essential:

1. Graduated in medical field (i.e. MBBS, MD, BDSc,...)

1.1. minimum 6 months education or some experiences in the field of Homeopathy

1.2. Peer reviewed published papers

2. Graduated in Homeopathic field (i.e. BHMS, MD (Hom.))

2.1. Minimum 6 months postgraduate education in related field (Advance Case Management/ Psychiatry)

2.2. Peer reviewed published papers

3. All applicants are expected to demonstrate their competency in English language.

Dear candidates
I fully appreciate that many of you have been browsing our website impatiently looking forward for launching of PhD programme. Well, I am pleased to announce here that PhD in Advance Case Management and Homeopathic Psychiatry have been approved by "Board of Trustees" of University on 15/04/2009.. We start recruiting candidates shortly. But meanwhile we understand that eligibility criteria of programme are tough and it may stop many of you from achieving what you are really capable of.
So upon the unanimous verdict of "Board of Trustees" on 20/04/09 hereinafter University will consider Fellowship in Advance Case Management and Fellowship of Homeopathic Psychiatry with easier entry requirements as preliminary courses for PhD programme. So graduates of these two courses will have priority to other candidates in taking PhD with us. Also the duration and fees of Fellowship course will be counted toward PhD programme.
So if you are seriously thinking about applying to our PhD programme, we strongly recommend you to take the opportunity and apply to one of these two fellowships as soon as possible. This significantly increases your chance to successfuly pass through the upcoming and competetive selection procedure of PhD programme.
