Today, in most places, in most industries, in all governmental
capacities, thus in many schools...
"Science" is most apparent by its absence.
Something else has painted the word science on it's forehead, and is
masquerading as such.
That something seems to be an amoral & unethical creature whose real
name is marketing;
marketing by the numbers, statistics-made-to-order .. for convincing
(selling) and for legal damage control (spin doctoring.)
The "science" which has resulted in medical doctors and pharmaceutical
drugs together comprising a leading cause of death in "developed
nations"
--- is that amoral beast.
There once was a thing called "science"
it's mind was open, not pliant
method was its madness
inquiry its gladness
when money became king
of every single thing
science went mad
cause of orders it had:
set conclusions must appear
you shall reverse engineer:
experiments must achieve
making consumers believe
exactly what is desired
else money says you are fired.
In humans, it is abundantly clear that there is no such thing as a
"true science" of nutrition.
Zillions of factions claiming various (faulty) proof of this/that/the
opposite.
The science of human nutrition would (if it were to exist in any
fashion other than marketing hype)
first need to affirm: no two humans are exactly alike
perhaps making this an affirmation is too weak ..
let's say it would need to be the mantra of said science.
No Two Individuals Are Exactly Alike
(say it again, now)
(can I get a hallelujua)
It would be FABULOUS science, if each individual's nutrition were to
be assessed on that basis.
One man's meat is another man's poison.
Where have all the flowers gone..
(when will they ever learn..)
warm wishes,
