trying to understand what's going on

We got our 7-year-old female Border collie/terrier mix (a rescue pup) when she was about one and a half. We don’t know at what age she was spayed, nor anything about her history before she came to us. We love her dearly, but over the past few months a problem has arisen that makes life very difficult for us. She is incontinent (both dripping and at times, gushing). Not all the time, but frequently. The liquid doesn’t smell (at least not at first) but stains yellow on cloth.
I have been treating her, based on her personality mostly, with some success with Pulsatilla, in water, succussed. I don’t really understand what is going on, however, and have not found good information on line. Does anyone have a lead to information that will help me understand—or a recommendation for a homeopathic vet who treats by phone. (We do not have a homeopathic vet who would treat her in our area.) TIA! Teresa (Northern VA)
