Bronchitis serious cases here

Hi all,
Here in Spokane there is a very severe form of bonchitis doing the
rounds with nasty contagion spreading it fast. It is causing people
to often end up in hospital. In some businesses more than half the
staff may be off ill with it, for weeks. For example the local deli
section at the supermarket had only one person on duty at night
instead of 4, and similarly short-staffed in the day when there are
usually a dozen.
I've had it myself also a friend and her boyfriend, and we all
three got well fast. We also all had pretty variable symptoms, so no
genus epidemicus yet perhaps - I thought I'd share what little I can
anyway:
Symptoms/Case of MC:
Started with hoarse voice and tiredness, lack of appetite, progressed
to high fever, and weakness, generally feeling hot, then coughing,
wondering if she would survive it (uncharacteristic pessimism for
her) , hard to breathe from mucus in the trachea, alternating with
coughing, agg cold wet weather, agg emotional issues, worry about
studies, worse from worry, (increase in her) clonic convusions.
REMEDY USED: ANT-T.
Symptoms/Case of MH:
Expressed struggle for air esp inspiration, wanting to breathe deep
but could not. Also epigasgtrium/abdominal complaints. History of
bronchitis suppressed with antibiotics in the past, never quite got
over it, felt like some dust in throat but actually it was a swollen
inflamed uvula that was really bothering him, mucus and coughing
also. Unusually quarrelsome, snoring due to respiration issues,
feeling suffocated.
REMEDY USED: SULPH
Symptoms of ID:
Severe right ear pain, and headache, saw doctor who diag badly
inflamed throat /pharynx and obstucted eustachian tubes as real cause
of pain, no ear infection. Case got worse with throat and pharynx
burning pain Bronchial area mucus,hawking in morning, lungs clear.
Not coughing much, pain is main symptom, aversion to work, also to
concentration, aggravated by hassles/excitement of any kind, ear/
eustachian tubes blocked, throat bright red, turning head left agg,
throat swollen, gasping respirartion, had to breathe slowly.
REMEDY USED: PHYT
Commonish features I noted though unless noted above they were not as
strong as above features used in repping each case:
*Difficult respiration, slow and not feeling like able to breathe
properly.
*Throat area involved somehow
* Mental irritability
*Head feels hot.
*Mouth Dryness
*Mucus accumulation
* loss of appetite
* cold agg (we still have snow here)
* feel very weak, want to lie down
I saw one other case with little coughing, and a lot of throat/
pharynx involvement, but they did not want to know about homeopathy,
I tried to rep it for interest anyway and would have suggested MERC.
(Said person is still very ill, where the rest of us are fine again.)
Not sure if this will be useful anywhere, but no harm mentioning it I
guess
