Interesting you should say this Sheri. I enclose Dr Subrata Banergea's full prescribing posology. I did his post grad course. It sounds a bit similar.

DISPENSING TECHNIQUE: TO SIP THE MEDICINE - LENGTH OF DOSING - RATIONALITY:
Dissolve each powder in half or a litre of water and sip it slowly throughout the day; save a little in the bottom of the bottle, top it up with fresh water (you can top it up as many times as you like during the day as well, just make sure you save little at the bottom of the bottle and top it up), shake and sip throughout the next day; continue like this for ..... days, unless otherwise directed. Shake or stir the medicine each time before use. Take the medicine according to the numbers, if given.
Keep the medicine in dry place away from strong odours and sunlight.
"Don't take 2nd sachet if feeling better"
EACH DOSE MEDICINE TO SIP FOR 10 DAYS:
1. More match with totality and characteristic of symptoms.
2. More mental symptoms and match with personality type.
3. Clarity of picture.
4. Sensitive persons (if they react, can go to 3rd bottle technique)
5. Quick to act and react
6. Higher intelligence and Intellectuals
7. People with great muscular power
8. Lack of reaction to well indicated medicines
9. Lack of vital reaction (Loose all susceptibility)
10. Hypersensitive people on Allopathic drugs for a long time.
EACH DOSE MEDICINE TO SIP FOR 5 to 7 DAYS:
1. Sluggish people who are slow to react
2. Drug dependent cases (on regular Allopathic drugs).
3. Terminally ill with gross pathological changes (malignancy);
4. Rapidly fatal diseases
5. Heavy pathology
6. Homoeo Prophylaxis
7. Acute diseases with clear picture
8. Rx on NBWS (to clear up the suppression)

a) Even Centicimal Scale Potencies to be dispensed in water : Appendix. P. 263.
b) Feeble action if given dry : Chronic Disease P. 159.
c) Even 30th potency to be dissolved in water : §128.
4) Every Dose should be Deviated from the Former :- §246 (6th Ed.), §247 (6th Ed.), §280 (6th Ed.)
5) Doctrine of Divisibility :- Appendix. P. 266.
a) Even in dilution, the power of the medicine remains the same : §287, §286, §285.
6) Application of Placebo :- §281 (6th Ed.), §91.
7) Dispensing LM Potency :- F.N. 248.
8) Do not Repeat when the Patient is Improving :- §245.
9) Against Polypharmacy :- F.N. 272.
10) Previous Prescription Wrong :- §166 : B.E of imperfect Rx. Corrected by the subsequent correct Rx.

12) Series of Anti Psorics Required :- §171.
13) Homoeopathician Treats the Miasm, Upon which the Malady Depends :- §205.
14) No Food Restriction in Act. Dx :- §262, 263.
15) High Potencies can be Dangerous :- §276.
16) Smallness of Doses :- §277, 278, 284, 285.
17) L.M. Potency Repeat :-
i) Repeat until recovery ensues (§248).
ii) Repeat until the patient experience continued improvement (§248).
iii) Do not repeat during progressive improvement (§246).
iv) Can be given daily and for months (§ F.N. 246).
v) §280 (Continue till return of old disease).
18) Divided Dose :-
i) Dimimotion of strong power of medicine for sensitive patients (§285 & F.N.).
ii) Effect is increased but actual amount remains same (§286).
iii) Every portion of plussing : Smallest portion of diluting fluid receives same quantity of medicine in proportion as all the rest (§287) and the last selected hom-remedy could best extract the morbid disorder only if applied in several different forms (F.N. 247).
19) Highly Susceptible People:
Give dry - especially if mental symptoms aggravate OR 5th bottle dilution.
Once you get Quantum Jump in sense of well being - then move patient to water remedy.
Any person of TB diathesis - be very careful of giving high potency. Anyone with that susceptibility start at 6, 12, 18c - stay under 30c.

That's the way he prescribes. I wonder if all the students who come out of the Allen College (UK) prescribe like this? His post grad course was very interesting and he is a fabulous lecturer. He came to NWCH 2 years in a row to lecture to us and his MM knowledge is amazing. He knows Boericke off by heart - truly. He knows exactly where on a page is the part he wishes to emphasis.
