Friends,
A new book entitled "Integrative Oncology " has just been published by Oxford University Press, and its editors are Andrew Weil, MD, and Donald Abrams, MD. For more information on it (or to order it), go to: http://www.homeopathic.com/store/product=2066
THIS NEW BOOK IS VITAL FOR ANYONE WITH CANCER OR CONCERNED ABOUT CANCER AND FOR ANY HEALTH OR MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL WHO TREATS PEOPLE WITH CANCER! This price is very reasonable for this 600+ page book, especially because of the quality of the publisher and the information inside this book!
Althought this book is supposed to be available in March, 2009, the publisher has promised me access to copies of this book because I have written a chapter on homeopathy in it (actually, I served as the lead author of the chapter in this book on homeopathy and co-authored it with Iris Bell, MD, PhD who is head of research for Dr. Weil's Program in Integrative Medicine, University of Arizona, Menachem Oberbaum, MD, and Shephard Roee Singer, MD.
This book will be available to me some time in late-December, 2008.
This NEW book heralds in a new evolution/revolution in cancer treatment today. No longer can or should physicians or patients consider only conventional medical treatment for people with cancer. The future is HERE, and today, physicians and patients can and should draw from the best that conventional medicine has to offer ALONG WITH the best that various natural or "alternative" therapies provide...
People facing a new diagnosis of cancer are unsettled by their prognosis and treatment options, and they often seek to integrate complementary modalities into their conventional care plan, hoping to improve their chances of cure and decrease side effects. Many do so without informing their oncologist, for fear of alienating them or not convinced that their physician would be informed about complementary therapies.
Integrative Oncology provides a wealth of information for both practitioners and consumers on the emerging field of integrative oncology. Noted oncologist Donald Abrams and integrative medicine pioneer Andrew Weil and their international panel of experts present up-to-date and extensively referenced chapters on a wide spectrum of issues and challenges, bound in one comprehensive, reader-friendly text in a format featuring key points, sidebars, tables, and a two-color design for ease of use. It is destined to emerge as the definitive resource in this emerging field.
