My old homeopathic doctor. He didn't believe in water doses. He was a die hard
kentian. I once told him that i was making up a water dose for my mother and
he said i had to put alcohol in there. I said i had done it before without
alcohol and he got really firm with me: you have to put alcohol in
there...because that is the way it is done. Does anyone think there is
another reason besides sterility for using alcohol?

Well, for what it's worth, I know from many experiences that the alcohol
doesn't affect the healing power of water potencies. It does affect the
length of time it takes for the remedy to start growing "thingies."

Depends how you define healing power:-)
In working with cats, it is often the case that I ned the cats to say
how much dose or whethr it is the right remedy - and they can detect
it - but not if it is in alcohol. Then they shy away from the alcohol.

So I make ONLY aqueous dosing bottles for cats.
If you reconstitute it weekly, you don't see thingies.


(Nor if you close your eyes and use an old remedy in emergency ))
