this is the thing that is so wonderful, but so frustrating in making decisions in life.
there really are no absolutes and we are most often left to our own personal
decision-making, development of belief systems and paradigms in life. some
things seem truer than others over time but there will always be the opposite point
of view. marx talked about the dialectic in history that pushes us forward and, for
me, this has always been true. it ususally means we don't expect perfection, but
strive for the best and when the contradictions about that best arise, we debate,
research, observe and then make new decisions and move forward- very often,
each in our own direction.
