louise mclean put out a list of 50 facts about homeopathy.
#49 lists acceptance of homeopathy by the public in
different countries. it seems that only 15% of the public
is familiar and accepting of homeopathy in great britain.
does this sound like a correct figure to those of you who
live and practice there?

Hi Tanya,
interesting question. May I ask where you got the the figure from that only 15% of the
public is familiar and accepting on homeopathy in the UK? It does not sound correct to me;
from my experience I would say more like 40 - 50%., but I may be mistaken. Most people I
talk with know about homeopathy, even if it's only in connection with the fact that the
royal family use it. What do others think? Grace.

on another list with strong interest in homeopathy, the louise mclean
list was posted. i questioned why there was no mention of great britain
in item #49 which gave relative numbers of several countries. the person
wrote back that it was 15% and could not justify it. so i thought i would
ask people on this list since we have quite a few from that nation. 15%
seemed way off the mark.
the louise mclean list can be seen at

OK Tanya, I will ask Louise that myself, as we are friends, and I will post her reply here.
I had already posted Louise's list on this group some months back as well. Regards, Grace

Hi again, I now have some info. from Louise McLean. This is the link for your information,
http://www.prlog.org/10068782-high-leve ... dwide.html
and the issue was not about public acceptance, but one of high level of trust in
Homeopathy. Best wishes, Grace
to me; from my experience I would say more like 40 - 50%., but I may be mistaken. Most
that the royal family use it. What do others think? Grace.

thanks grace for getting it clarified. it still seems a low number considering the
legitimacy that homeopathy has had in great britain for so many years. i wonder
if the survey was done after this current assault against it began a couple of years
ago.
