thank you.
i just read up on beryllium.
unfortunately there were no case studies in my literature.
do you have any information on cases with success with this
disease?
is this a long term case management condition? or it this
something that homeopathy can resolve in a relatively short
amount of time?
are there any specific pitfalls in working with this disease?
articles online from the allopathic sphere talk about avoiding
sun and vit d. do you have any information that supports or
rejects this idea?

you can read the links that soroush sent.
the first link notes spontaneous cure in acute cases
and less sure results with chronic cases. it can be fatal
and that is what this woman was told. so there is a high
level of angst that she and her family are sufferring now.

Hi Tanya
So far as I know Sarcoidosis can creep on slowly and can mimic TB. Same as TB, it can affect various organs, such as the lungs, heart, they eyes etc.
There can be various presenting symptoms, like the hardening of the glands (which can be painful) etc. So a detailed case taking is necessary as in with all other situations.
Depending on how aggressive it is, the strength of symptoms will of course vary.
The suggestion of Beryl metalicum worries me because it seems to be almost an allopathic prescription. On my rep there are a few sx listed under beryl-met so I would like to know how our colleague Dr Israr ul Haque suddenly jumped to it.

in anticipation of talking with this woman, i have read up on beryl-met (what little i have)
and also took a quick look at the reperatory. there are several remedies listed under
sarcoidosis which is a beginning. obviously, a full case needs to be taken.
i know this woman had previous lung problems and i have to wonder whether they
missed the diagnosis in the past. if so, it suggests that this has been a creeping chronic
condition. the mental/emotional picture is quite complicated and intense as she was
the one ton whom all family hopes had been placed. other siblings are dead, or on
drugs. many in family lean on her to take them in and save them fromthemselves. she
has just taken on a 2 yr old family member who was born with crack addiction. this is
a heartbreak story from beginning to end. lung problems seem almost predictable
with all the grief.
but again, a full case needs to be taken. i am planning on contacting the woman
this weekend to see when she is moving back to the area.
thanks for the advice.
tanya

Hi everyone,
I have been treating two cases of sarcoidosis, they are both doing quite well; one is Carc.
and the other one is Thuja. Berylium did nothing. Hope this helps, best wishes, Grace
