I have a patient whose cycle is 33/42/31/42/31/43 i.e. 11 ish days late every other cycle . She has also noticed that she ovulates on day 14 on long cycles and day 16 on the short ones.
Any comments please.
This has been since she had a non hormone coil removed . She has got one child but wood like to conceive.
Thanks

FEMALE GENITALIA/SEX - MENSES - late, too - alternate months
Only two rx in my rep - Syph and THLASPI BURSA PASTORIS (thlas.)
Thlas has the following female sx:
FEMALE GENITALIA:
- HEMORRHAGE DURING PREGNANCY OR DELIVERY.
- Hemorrhage with violent uterine colic. Expulsion of clots.
- Metrorrhagia. Every alternate menses, very profuse.
Hardly recovers between periods.
- Leucorrhea before and after menses. Bloody, dark, offensive. Stains indelibly.
- Abortion. Hemorrhages after abortion.
- Fibroids. Cancer of cervix.
I am just wondering if she actually conceives and then naturally aborts every other month.
Is the quality of flow different each time?
Best wishes
Soroush

well, if she knows her cycles so well, why doesn't she just
work with them for conception?
but if she wants to equalize the cycles, does this rubric help?

Brilliant - that was the rubric I was looking for- I knew it was there somewhere!! Which rep did you find it in.
I like the idea of Thalaspi - low!!
Her painful periods and other problems have been better since Sepia but it didn't change the cycle.
Thanks

Dear Soroush,

I wondered abut this as well but wouldn't suggest it as she would be upset. We wondered if it was because of the eggs coming out of a different ovary (as they do) each month.

No she hasn't - just that it is very heavy on the first 2 days. In fact her last menses came after 43 days and she said it was less painful which is probably the Sepia beginning to kick in.
