does this ring any bells?

A 14 yr old girl tells me
"My last wave of despair was last night - it's like everything has died, has stopped and there is no point to anything. There is a worry of how long it will last for."
She has improved on Anac over the last few months (less attacks, no suicidal feelings mentioned) and I have now gone to a WP with this remedy every other day to stop these "waves of despair" from appearing at all as she has found she needs to repeat the 200 fortnightly. I went up from the 30c which she needed to repeat weekly.
I would be interested if anyone recognises these type of waves of despair in any other remedy. There is no drug abuse but she is drinking alcohol when out with friends, which unfortunately is not unusual these days in UK.

Hi Rochelle,

Has she explained the "waves" part?
What it brings to mind for me--tho i don't know about the "waves"--is
Aurum.

Thanks - its a thought I will keep in mind. I am just not 100% convinced I have the correct Rx. However every time she takes it she says she gets a break out of acne on her face!! Her face look perfectly clear today though!!! Best I had ever seen it.
She said today

“I think the remedy is working because I feel better, I can tell when it is wearing off because the despair becomes more constant.”
This is what keeps me with the Anac. I wondered when I first met her if she was going into Schizophrenia but I have not heard about voices since I gave her the remedy. Good, concerned, caring, worried parents. I also wonder if she has ever done psychotic drugs despite the fact that she says not.

Dunno if this fits in with anything else in the case, but in my (necessarily limited) study, I've noted Aur. as a remedy that has what you might call waves of despair. I've used it in my family, based largely on that feature, with good results.

Dear Tanya
Good idea as it relates to Aurum again but there is no periodicity. Don't know what brings it on but I bet there is something!!

have you tried working with eft to see what issues come up?
sometimes it is so hard to get to the exciting or precipitating cause

Dear Tanya,
Yes I have taught her EFT to use and we have used it together on her fear of heights and she found she was able to go on rides at Alton Towers with friends after that!!! We didn't use it today.

Thanks Celia,
A few of you are suggesting that I look at Aurum.
