People are obviously still unclear (or not thinking) about how to send a

Very simply:

If it ever occurs to you that perhaps your message is more suitable for ONE
INDIVIDUAL than for HUNDREDS...

Carefully inspect the TO: (recipient) section of your outgoing email
prior to SENDing.

If you see minutus@yahoogroups.com there, your message will be sent to
HUNDREDS.

If this is not your intent, or if on reflection, it could possibly be more
appropriate for ONE person- CHANGE the address to that of the one person.
You should generally be able to find the address of that one person by
inspecting the "HEADERS" of the message.
