Hi Daniella,
There are any amount of courses and seminars in Germany, there may be
many (informal) groups - I do not know. There is hardly any
opportunity for internship/sitting in.

No - I do not know about the relative merits of the schools.

But you might write to "Gisa" (Gabriele Sielmann) who also posts on
this list. She may know more about the schools than I do.

While most people I know on and from the German list can be considered
partial, since they are associated with a specific school or graduated
from one or .... this does not apply to her. So she is likely to be
impartial.

Hi Daniella,

What background do you have in it thus far--have you done any formal or
informal studying, or reading introductory books, or ? There are quite
a number of schools, so it would help to narrow down your field. The
structure of schools apparently varies a good bit. In the US (which is
all I have much familiarity with) homeopathy has no legal standing, and
the schools are either "freestanding" (all should include some minimal
degree of anatomy and pathology training as either prerequisite or part
of the coursework) or in a couple of cases, part of the training in
naturopathy schools (in those only a small part of the curriculum is
homeopathy per se, tho). These run either three or four years, but
only part-time, usually 2 - 3 days per month, with most of the work
done at home and (in some cases) in study groups.

I gather that in England and India there are schools in which
homeopathy is taught as part of a full-time program (also 3 or 4
years?)--can someone verify if I'm correct about that?

There are also correspondence programs, some paralleling the 3-4 year
part-time format, and others (or sometimes the first year of the longer
program) aiming at a more "introductory" level, training one to give
acute care only, and preparing one to study further if desired.

Which of these sounds more like what you're looking for?
