Codex Alimentarius - we NEED to know about this

During the discussion started about remedy making machines, brief mention was made about the Codex Alimentarius. Perhaps it is because my knowledge of the Codex is still superficial, but I was still impressed that not more was spoken of regarding this. It is something very threatening to our access to proper care for our health (I term it this way quite deliberately).
I am not a homeopath, but I actively use it in my family and have told many friends about it, who have found great success themselves.
The Codex Alimentarius is being touted as the world's answer to healthcare-- but, if this comes in to power (scheduled, as was said, to do so here in the USA in 2009), we will quickly find that the government will be what determines what is proper health care. We will not have access to homeopathic remedies or herbal remedies. A physician telling a patient about vitamins or herbs-- this will be termed "advertising", and subject to whatever the government deems appropriate. The allopathic doctors will have free reign over dousing the world with their unproven medicines, while squashing what we all know truly works. Our access to good, healthy, organic foods will be severely restricted-- Monsanto's apparently a big supporter of the Codex. Under the Codex, Monsanto can pretty well happily count the days to when all foods grown will be GMO. Vaccines will become mandatory. Our health will rapidly become a shambles.
As I write this, the Codex convention is happening in Geneva, Switzerland. And the USA currently holds the Codex Commission chair.
Are any of you here more familiar than I am with Dr. Rima Laibow? She and retired army major general Albert Stubblebine founded the Health Freedom USA organization (www.healthfreedomUSA.org ) and the Natural Solutions Foundation. I have been receiving Dr. Laibow's e-newsletter for some time now. They are very active in fighting against the Codex-- Dr. Laibow is currently in Geneva at the Codex convention.

My brother, a chiropractor, told me about Quack Watch. You can probably bet the doctors who run that are big Codex proponents as well. Homeopathy is not the only health approach that is on their chopping block.
This all may sounds extreme. And I don't normally consider myself an alarmist. But, because of the quality of health that my family is currently enjoying-- thanks to homeopathy and healthy eating-- what I've learned about the Codex Alimentarius frankly frightens me to no end. I'm hoping-- indeed, praying that people will realize how dangerous something like the Codex Alimentarius is and how incredibly foolish it is to restrict our access to true care for our health and will take whatever ACTION they can to prevent it from overtaking the world, which they are strenuously working on right now.
I hope that, with the many good homeopaths on this list, the information I'm sharing here is helpful. Perhaps there are those of you who can help me learn more as well.
