Most homeopaths have a sliding scale from the first vist; so if the first visit cost $300, the next one might be $150. It sounds like you've never been to a homeopath.
My point is that a patient can afford to pay the regular fees if they believed they were doing the right thing for the right reason. Payment terms are sometimes negotiable.

You have to stop being a sheep, and take charge of your life, with a positive attitude, and stop whining that there is nothing you can do; that I can't controll what happens in my life.

I don't know how many homeopaths would be willing to wait to get paid. Maybe we should have a poll of the US Homeopaths.

Can you see how this statement applies to some people but NOT to
others? Stating it as tho it applies to *everyone* simply says that
you're speaking from a pretty sheltered viewpoint.

If the money is not *there*, what is one to do--put it on a credit
card? What if you don't have a credit card? And yes I am thinking
about "real people" that I have known. I used to have one friend,
divorced welfare (and then low-wage) mother of five children, who was
fortunate enough to find a homeopath who treated welfare patients, for
pretty close to free. What a blessing! Unfortunately, because the
need was so huge and she only one person, there was only so much she
could do. Other homeopaths in the area did (some of them) have
"sliding scale", but the others did not slide low enough to accommodate
the needs of someone on welfare.
Sometimes, and other times not. A lot does depend on "luck"--where you
are, what homeopaths are around, and etc.
True, but if money is the only option and you don't *have* it, what to
do? I know that some homeopaths do some work for "barter" (and others
would not *dream* of it), which has its own potential pitfalls; in
other cases there should be a charge, but reduced as much as seems
appropriate. But to make assumptions like the one you made above, is,
sadly, naive.
But that's a separate and unrelated matter.
One thing we need is, more "free clinics" staffed (or at least
supervised) by *really good homeopaths*! The legal issues on that
could be sticky...
