My homeopath has prescribed D.N.A and R.N.A 1 M on alternate days for
my 8 year old autistic son. Is this a proven homeo medicene. Has anyone
seen significant improvement of patients on them. I see lot of
sceptical writings on the web which as under

Where do you live and where is the practitioner you are seeing.

It would be best to find a Hahnemannian homeopath who actually follows the principles of homeopathy

The issue to be concerned about here is not the stability of the molecule but the accuracy of the prescription.

It's true that DNA at least is unstable, particularly if it's been genetically modified. But the 1M potency contains none of the molecule worth speaking of (at most one molecule of it); whatever was proven in the original preparation should be operative in this preparation. The same goes for RNA. No problem there.

The problem lies in your homoeopath's understanding of homoeopathy and how it works. Homoeopathy is based on a thorough (as thorough as we can manage) knowledge of the effects of a substance in deranging health. Matching as closely as possible naturally deranged health with such known effects and prescribing the substance that can most closely mimic the patient's health derangements is the basic method of homoeopathy.

No two substances can substitute for the one accurately prescribed one. That is because we don't know what any two substances do in terms of deranging health. We can know in a very vague way, but not accurately enough to form a basis for homoeopathic prescription. For that reason, "alternation" in homoeopathy is restricted to those cases in which we must "zigzag" from one incompletely homoeopathic remedy to another, and is kept to relatively long-term alternations. In terms of a rapid-moving acute illness such as cholera, this might be a two-daily alternation. But in terms of chronic illness, we're looking at months, not a day, between changes of remedy.

A homoeopath prescribing two remedies on alternate days for the patient experiencing essentially the one chronic illness (not autism but the broader illness incorporating the symptoms summed up as autism) is therefore trying to capture the patient's totality in two groups rather than under the symptoms of a single substance. Only a homoeopath lacking the most basic understanding of what homoeopathy is and how it works will do such a thing.

Thanks for the long note putting things in the right perspective. I have shared that paper on autism with my doc and have continued with my earlier doc whom i found more in sync with the facts of Autism. I was getting impatient with him due to slow progress and it was the new doc who was suggesting RNA etc
