lyme and tick control

in searching for some non-toxic anti-tick lawn solution
i came across this information. it is actually an entire
book on pest control. there is a chapter on ticks, etc with
some interesting information and protocols for control that
are fairly simple.
http://www.stephentvedten.com/index.htm
click on the tick, mites, etc chapters (34 pp).
there is also a product Safe Solutions is the product that
the author sells. i spoke with him (he is in Michigan) and
found him to be very helpful.
the cost for his safe solution product is not very expensive
as it goes a long way (1 oz/gallon of water in a hose sprayer).
diatomaceous earth (de) is also very useful as it repels the ticks
from the area.
thought this would be helpful to all who ask about tick control
for pets and humans alike.
