genus epidemicus - cough/flu going around

Hello all,
Just thought I'd drop a note as to a flu/cold thing making the rounds. Several have responded very well to Bryonia. (Cases in ME, CA, AL, FL this past week.) Symptoms have been:
cold starting with stuffy nose (dry inside for some)
quickly goes to chest
chest feels constricted
"pleurisy" like feeling in chest, sore, worse for movement
feeling "like I'm sinking" or "couch is sinking" (loved this gem!)
headache starting above left eye, slowly spreading over entire head
hacking "junky" cough
All have responded well to Bryonia. Two to Pulsatilla first, then Bryonia.

There are several viruses making the rounds here, even though it's well into spring where we are. The last two have been GI viruses. China has been helpful with them -- vomiting and/ or diarrhea, followed by dramatic weakness and weight loss.
So I'm glad to know the remedy for the upper respiratory virus you describe, in case it shows up here too.

I gave Bryonia today to a patient who arrived with a painful cough and within a few minutes she felt it was much easier.
