Unkind Words

Dear Colleagues,

I would like to echo the words of other people who have spoken out
against the unkind tone of some recent conversations on our list.

Like probably most members of this group, I have a very busy life and
barely have time to read Minutus mail. However, I make time because
wonderful ideas and information are shared here. But when personal
attacks and accusations come flying across the screen, not only do I
feel I am wasting my time, I feel violated for being subjected to
reading this stuff.

If people want to go head to head on their personal dogmas, please do it
off the list. Until now, this group has functioned well as a means to
build bridges among a diverse group, transcending tremendous cultural,
language, and geographical differences. I think this is phenomenal.

It's one thing to have constructive, academic and/or clinical
discussions and another to denigrate those with opposing views. It would
be tragic for this unique group of homeopaths from around the world to
be derailed by a few individuals who feel compelled to defend their
positions at all costs. Please, let's leave the soapboxes to the
politicians.

Arlene

Arlene has eloquently put into words my feelings as well. Thank you,
Arlene.
