"The people I know don't feed raw..One couldn't possibly feed raw meat and bones they say because ' dogs fed raw become aggressive, the worry about parasites in the meat..etc.. ' Yet.. Germans eat *Mett* [raw pork] and *tartar* [raw beef].. all the time.
I give up trying to understand this point of view..

Liv ... all smiles.. "
it always amazes me the blinders that people chose to wear.
i can live with contradictions, but not acknowledging them is
what gets me. otherwise it would simply be humorous!

i, ve known this as a child. Once i asked a dog trainer and he explained the reason. It is as you mentioned "dogs fed raw become aggressive".
As far as i know, the Germans cannot smell the blood as good as the dogs do

If they did, i wouldnt go near them

)
Dont try feed them raw meat, maybe someone else will get hurt

one of the benefits of raw feeding of my cats
is the absence of smells from their elimination.
since i have an 18+ yr old female who will not
use the litter box any longer, this is a real
boon otherwise my house would be smelling like
a zoo house.

The opposite should also be true i.e. dogs brought
up on veggies should be placid as cows and goats.
In India many veg. families feed their dogs only vegs.
How come that has not reduced their aggressiveness?
Matter of fact my neighbors dog - vegetarian - is rabidly
aggressive, like to a certain extent are the masters.

They are undernourished?
Zoologically dogs are carnivores and require meat...I expect that in India they are getting meat whether 'fed' it or not..as to your neighbour????
