my gorgeous 24year old son is in hospital with major frontal lobe atrophy - fast deteriorating - becoming numb and losing ability to move - drs think cryptosporum in brain and possible csf leakage. He has been bashed a hwile ago and we have been to a number of major hospitals and 13 different specialists in a period of 9 months and over 15 gps and losts lof previous tests run. we were told it was psychosomatic until a new mri scan i insisted upon show this yesterday - previous mri done 8 weeks ago was clear.

while trying to assess a correct homeopathic remedy
with a professional homeopath, i would suggest low level laser
applied to the head. i have seen low level laser impact the
effect of fungus on liver/brain toxicity.

Since this a parasitic infection, your son is probably being given
high dose intravenous antibiotics which kill off good bacteria along
with any anti-parasitic drugs. There are various anti-parasitic
herbal formulas containing wormwood and cloves that may help, if he
can swallow. Along with that, capsules of probiotics directly or
mixed into liquid. PB-8 is a rather inexpensive, easily found in
stores, high strength probiotic that may help. Each capsule is about
10 billion organisms, you can give many, 5+ capsules. Jarrow brand
offers various strains of good bacteria. More expensive probiotics
like powdered Natren brand and professional brands like Metagenics
can also be helpful though may take you longer to obtain.

A Naturopathic doctor knows about treating this with herbs. An ND
who is also a homeopath could provide additional info.

But how to get it (anti-parasite treatments etc.) to the *brain*???
Beverly, my prayers and heart are with you. What do you mean by "he
has been bashed a while ago"--did this begin with a head injury? What
happened?

Beverly- sorry to hear about your son...

Phos is one of the best for brain atrophy. Phos with Tuberculinum
intercurrent should be good. There are published cases of brain
masses being cured with Phos and occasional Tuberculinum.

I would also suggest taking a look at Hippozaenium.

If there are seizures - Cup.m; Bufo, Kali.br all should be
considered.

Fluoric acid and Iod is mentioned in brain atrophy. If you look at
these remedies- many of these are anti syphilitics. And since Iod is
also here I would definitely take a hard look at Kali.iod. - a
master anti-syphilitic.

Do not lose hope. Homeopathy HAS done wonders and will in your son's
