Re: to increase milk flow in feeding mother
There are many remedies depending on the reason for the lack of flow. Pulsatilla is the usual one, followed by Calc if needed.

Homeopathically, one needs to take the case.
But nutritionally, brewers yeast is said to be good for it, and I think
in generally, foods high in B vitamins and protein, also good-quality
fats (nuts, grains, avocado) should help too.

Re: to increase milk flow in feeding mother
I suggest
lac deforatum 30C bid for 2 days.
Also look at the nutrition of the mother to fix cause.
Namaste,

Re: to increase milk flow in feeding mother
Yes, always better to take the case.
I know someone who had a lack of milk and really wanted to breastfeed -
eventually with kinesiology she thought it was resolved - in fact what
happened was that she changed her attitudes and guilts around
breastfeeding so she was happy to supplement with the bottle.
A few months down the track she realised that she was hypothyroid
(because she was always biting her tongue and inside of cheek, symptoms
of the myxoedema swelling) - and guess what... scanty breastmilk is a
symptom of low thyroid. Given that postpartum thyroiditis is not
uncommon, especially if there is an autoimmune family history, it's
better to keep the big picture in mind as you use the remedies.
Clarke give Urtica Urens good press for increasing breastmilk.

Urtica Urens also arrests flow of milk. Is it a question of potency?/,, Sadly someone seeing tomorrow wishes that because returning to work at 3 months. Much too early and I think it will cause problems, Jean
Re: to increase milk flow in feeding mother
Just remembered this one as well - scanty breast milk supply can happen
if the woman gets pregnant while still breastfeeding. That happened to a
friend when the child she was feeding was only 4 months old.
