i understand that the bbc has just removed ALL of the information and articles on holitistic health care. what a disappointment. the bbc over the years has provided a very important service to the public in presenting information on holistic health care. and despite the fact that the bbc often gives too much credence to vitupertive so-called 'quackbusters' it has also given a public voice to those of us who trust more realistic and honest science and experience. as a person who uses holistic health care almost exclusively for myself and family and pets, i have counted on the bbc's coverage to inform me of various aspects of related issues on health care. you have been much more forthcoming on information about problems with allopathic drugs and medical care as well. this change of coverage is nothing less than censorship and panders to the worst thinking and human behavior. the press needs to stand apart from the sectarian interests of a few hysterics, regardless of how vociferous they may be, and present both sides of an issue fairly. health care, and holistic health care is a major issue in today's world. there is a war ongoing today, as yesterday, for the control of health care. the press needs to remain neutral. the evidence of the interest in holistic protocols is in the growing numbers of people who are using these protocols. and while the protagonists are perhaps a bit more complacent in expressing their views in writing to you, they are clearly voting with their purses and that is a very big voice. in the usa between 30-50% of the population uses holistic health care in some form. in great britain the numbers are over 20% and growing. in the usa the amount of money spent on holistic health care is equal to that spent on allopathic care. this number is even more significant since most holistic care is not covered by health insurance in the usa and has to be paid directly out of pocket. i always thought the bbc was several steps above the censored news that is presented in the usa. this action of yours reverses my opinion and is very disappointing. i do hope you will reverse this biased and unfair position.
