Hi Rochelle,
Just making the connection between being too hot in bed and also
being scared of fire.

I am being helped mightily (CC: bipolar disorder) by a single dose of Thuja LM1 (given months ago and still working to my certain knowledge) and I am also “chased out of bed” EVERY morning right at 5 am by feeling too hot. It is a strong feeling that can’t be ignored—I’ve tried. Have to leave my husband happily sleeping, go to another room, open a window wide (even though it is in the 20s—quite cold outside) and crawl under a different featherbed to be able to sleep another couple of hours. I LOVE the cold feel of that second featherbed and the cold air on my face. I go back to sleep immediately in the cold bed.
Puls. did in fact work a miracle once for me but only one single night, long ago. (It brought me out of “profound insomnia” for one single night but never worked again, even though the homeopath went up in potency.) So IMO there must be at least one other remedy that has that rubric, even if no one proving it has reported the sx. Teresa (Northern VA)

An addendum to what I wrote below, FWIW: an off-list message from Ellen Madono made me think to go and look (for the first time) at the three remedies that my homeopath put in an envelope for me to open if I had a relapse of anxiety etc. on a cruise last autumn. He had previously prescribed on dry dose of Sulph. 30c in early June and one dry dose of Thuja LM1 on July 9. Both were in response to my beginning to go into what I recognize (from repeated crises) as a bipolar “depression” with severe anxiety and sleep disturbances. The dose of Sulph helped but did not hold. The dose of Thuja is holding and working still—seven months later.
When we went on the cruise in Nov., I asked for remedies to take along in case of another crisis. He mailed me three; I took the unopened envelope with me. I was supposed to phone him to ask which one to use, as I would have the three he thought most likely at the time. I did not need anything and the envelope was still unopened just now. When I opened it, I found Anacardium 30c, Sulphur 30c, and Thuja LM1. I am mainly writing this for Ellen who will be interested, I think, in his choices. But the point of this re my earlier email is that maybe I am in fact exhibiting the Sulph sx when I am chased out of bed by heat at 5 am?
I will be seeing my homeopath on Monday and will ask for clarification of when to use them since we will be out of phone range for a week in March. I hope not to need them, of course, but was comforted in November to have something with me. (We were in Hawaiian waters so in cell phone contact—wonder of wonders!)
