Acutes and homeopathy - question

I should like some feedback on this question:
In a case of high fever (103 - 104) in a 1 year old after some weeks
of unusual behaviour and up to the present vague symptoms - should
there be a clinical diagnosis by someone trained and experienced in
such a diagnosis in order to exclude a possible dangerous or even
life-threatening condition? Should homeopaths insist on it?
Regards

So definitely know what's true:
2 and 2 is 22 -
and 2 times 2 is 2:-)
