Here is a nice little essay by an M.D. who experienced dramatic results from homeopathy. I especially like Para. 4, which deals with how allopaths "can be blind to data, no matter how scientifically perfect it may, if the results do not fit their view of reality."

that was a fun little essay worth of a bookmark.
noone mentions Kent and his dramatic conversion
over his wife's illness. that is another little
tidbit which i have often used in conversation with
newbies.

Probably not--just more "anecdotes" to them!

I guess when you are an ostrich and your head in stuck in the sand it is pointless to explain about sunshine, birds, minerals, plants and other animals, not to mention the moon and the imponderables!! ... I see your point!

Yep.
Which is not to say that opinions never change, and I do not mean that
it's hopeless, but when someone *does* change their mind, it's apt to
be (at least usually, it seems) over a long-ish period of time, as the
ideas become less unfamiliar to them, and as perhaps others around them
begin to take some of those ideas seriously, and sometimes at some
point maybe the "stars" line up...

Nice but...just curious. She doesn't go much into the aggravation or
the potencies but it sounds like the potency was too high, the
frequency too often, and if it didn't help her fibroid, the case was
"incomplete"...what do you all think of this? She doesn't address that
at all or how long after, she had emergency surgery.
