I would recommend strongly that you see a vet for a diagnosis. If your
cat's bladder is blocked for example, that is life threatening in cats.
A vet can also do blood tests that tell you the condition of the liver.
Your cat can not tell you these things but some ordinary lab tests can.

If the liver is in bad shape you can expect constipation (also may have
other reasons) - but without the vet's help you will be working in the
dark to find out WHY you are seeing these problems - and you need the
"WHY" to know how to handle it - even if you stick with homeopathy alone
as the remedial approach.

You can also use pH sticks to test urine pH which should be 5.5 to 6.5.
Anything else causes blockages in cats. Oxalate if too low pH,
struvite if too high pH. Food can also indicate what's wrong to some
extent - but I'd get some tests done.

Then you will know what's wrong and can go about fixing it with
confidence. For now you do not know what to fix and trying to suppress
symptoms "with a constipation remedy" for example, is not going to lead
to health in my opinion.

Namaste,
Irene

The homeopathic helpline once advised Opium 30 for a child who hadn't passed a stool for over a week. It wasn't necessary to try it out at the time so if you decide to let us know how it works or not!!

Absolutely none...as a gardener I know it but haven't been able to find anything on the web relating to homeopathy...perhaps your best bet is to speak to one of the homeopaths at Helios?
I do hope they aren't selling remedies that they cannot instruct the use for!?

actually, the pharmacies do not tell you how
'to use' it since you need to take the case.
whether they have a proving on file is variable.
but i will see what i can find under 'cowberry.'
thanks

Well, that's debatable...I have had long conversations with Helios homeopaths and discussed remedies in the past, but I understand the point you are making.

My suggestion was due to me thinking that the questions asked would be related to 'where can I find a materia medica that includes this remedy', and 'could you direct me to it!'...rather than 'what do I use it for.'
