Depends on the susceptibility of the person- but why that much? Was it given as a dry dose or as a water potency succussed between each dose?

Hi there,
This person may get any or none of the carcinosin symptoms. You wil find those in the materia medica.

It's very unpredictable. Some cases might actually *need* that heavy a
dosing--most likely (at least, this has been my understanding) if the
pathology is extreme, and/or the remedy only partially similar, and/or
the vital force very weak and barely able to sustain reaction at all.

not necessarily cause any new symptoms; it really depends on the
person's degree of reactivity / sensitivity, and upon the needs of the
case. As with most homeopathy questions, I don't think this can be
meaningfully answered in the abstract--only in context of a specific
case. Would you like to say more about it?

I sorry I could not reply immediately. I am not a homeopathic doctor but a victim of highly un ethical and ill trained homeopathic Doctors. For the 1st time, when I was 4/5 years old, I was given a wrong medicine/potency which I made my life miserable, that is long story I am not sure if any of you will have time to read that. If any one is interested I will post.
Any how I cut short that for my miseries, it was summer 2005 a friend my forced me to see a Homeopathic Doctor in Islamabad, Pakistan who gave some pallets of CARCINICINUM 200, 3 times for 15 days. There was no improvement in my symptoms and when I called the Doctor on phone and told him that there is no change and asked what he prescribed for me (which was promised by him on my demand that he will tell me when the medicine finishes), he laughed and told me the prescription.
Since I was studying homeopathic books and articles as a hobby, I had a little awareness about nosodes and the administration of the homeopathic medicine. So I felt very upset that perhaps he is a Homeopathic Quack not a Doctor, so I never went back to him.
Almost for the last one year my chronic cough, coryza and catarrh started becoming worse and worse so much so that I used a finish almost a box of tissues daily. My allopathic doctor suggested chest X-ray. The report is as follows,
CHEST XRZY
Heart size normal.
There is a cavitating 6.4cm opacity peripherally at the right base and lymphadenopathy in right tracheo-bronchial angle. This could all be due to TB, neoplasm is also possibility.
My sputum report in the initial test is -ev for the TB. Culture report is to come after couple of weeks.
Any how I am going for a CT Scan on 22nd January.
At present I think this due to the bad administration of CARCINICINUM. May be you people know better.
Thanks & best regards for taking interest.

well, i can appreciate you not wanting to feel
'laughed at.' this practitioner's style of
dealing lacked sensitivity. it also sounds like
the carc was not the correct remedy for you. i
am sure this man thought it would be a good one
for you. since you have been reading up on
homeopathy, they you know that chosing a correct
remedy is not always very easy.
but if this man is not respecting your sensitivities,
then perhaps you do need to find someone else to
work with.
good luck

I feel that it is highly annoying to give such a deep acting remedy like CARSINOSINE 200 3 times daily for 15 days. Any nosode when administered a single dose in higher potency should be given some time and wait until the patient gets reaction. This kind of repetition of a remedy is not advisable.
