Formatting

Rats, I tried to change my emails to "plain text", and now the
"preferences" box *says* that's what it's doing, but it doesn't seem to
have taken effect. I re-started, but still no change. Does anyone
know what the problem might be?
Thanks,
Shannon

Have you un-ticked the box that says "Send emails in the format in which they were sent"?

Your email here looks like plain text.
But there is a way to check it. Send a copy to yourself, and look at the
detailed expanded headers - it will tell you whether the formatting is
"multipart/alternative" or "plain text ascii".

It might also be that you are sending it plain text but viewing it
differently - it's a separate click for how you view it.
