The contest will encompass two prize divisions - one for middle school/junior high and one for high school students. In each division, cash prizes of $2,500, $1,000 and $500 will be awarded for the top three places. All entrants to the contest must be sponsored by an active member of the Safe Wireless Initiative. Essay submissions will be judged by a panel of distinguished scientists and writers.

ELIGIBILITY: The contest is open to legal residents of the United States and Canada, who are under 19 years of age and who are attending middle school, junior or senior high school. Void in Puerto Rico and U.S. territories and possessions and where prohibited by law.
