I have used injections of homeopathic medicines before. I used to get
homeopathic medical combinations in injectable form. Originally in
India homeopathic injections were allowed; but then they were banned
in 1970s or 80s somewhere I think... but the companies that were
manufacturing the injections were still doing so and they were just
putting "for oral use only" on the labels. But the bottles were
clearly not meant to be used orally - because they were like ampoules
and sometimes with the rubber stopper on top for the injections... so
whoever was using them as injectables continued using them despite the
label...
I tested using the same combination medicines orally and also by
injection...
The medicines were clearly superior when given orally- I did not get
the same kind of rapid action when I gave them intramuscular...
At the same time, since I was using these in my general practice -
esp. in a poor area where patients come to doctors for injections (
since in India patients can get all their oral medicines over the
counter in pharmacies - no prescriptions needed- , including
antibiotics ) and people come to doctors mainly for injections (
people equate pain with effectiveness, sometimes the more painful the
injection the more powerful it is considered) and so for that group of
people it was useful.
BTW Dr.Lilienthal had used homeopathic injections in his practice I
think and so had Oscar ( or was it Garth) Boericke...
