Homeopathy Bleeding to Death

I am sorry, I don't have enough time to respond in detail to such a lenghty discourse on what is hapenning with Homeopathy in the UK, because I have such a busy practice!!. I follow this group with great interest, and learn much from it, but I feel so tired at the end of a busy day that my time needs to be wisely used.
However, I feel that, in parts, what you say is exagerated. Yes, the guns are out towards homeopathy; but this is part of a process, it has to happen, whether we like it or not - it is part of the process of pulling apart the structures that we have currently in our societies all over the world, so that a new order can be established. Feeling frightened and threatened will only push us to engage with the same negative energy that big pharma is putting out there. Remember, Ghandi once said: 'first they ignore us, then they ridicule us, then they fight us, then.....we win'.
There are positive things happening in the UK, although I agree that much more needs to be done. May I draw your attention to HMC21 movement recently set up in the UK. Look it up on the internet, sign the petition, get everyone else to sign it too. We will be marching in London to deliver the petition to 10 Downing Street on 22 June 2008. I know that the Society of Homeopaths and the ARH are responding to newspaper articles, but their responses are not being published. The thing is we need to continue writing to the newspapers. Eventually the newspapers will have to relent, and everyone can email them from wherever you are in the world. The latest to respond to, if you wish, is the article in the Observer newspaper on 28 October. Just search Observer newspaper and it will come up, it was an article written by Nick Cohen - just so absurd, most intelligent people will see it for what it is - but we need to respond. I wrote in & asked the Editor to give us the right to reply, in a democratic society. So far, no response.
Yes, it is a pity that the two major registering organisations in the UK are divisive at the moment, but again this is all happening for a good reason, even though we may not know what the reason is at the moment.
As for the people who are writing negatively about Homeopathy, some write such ridiculous and wildly exagerated articles, that that in itself will hang them, nobody else needs to do it for them, and the Brits have a habit of doing the opposite of what the government tells them to do. Most of my patients, when I ask them, say that they don't read such rubbish. And most of my practice is word of mouth.
You may like to listen to a piece on homeopathy in the BBC radio 4 programme 'You and Yours' on thursday 8th November - here is the link

I don't disagree that the situation is serious and we need to continue putting out our point of views and 'fight back', but I would rather fight back from the heart - for those who have access to Madeline Evans second book on the new remedies (the green book), please read out the last 4 pages at the end of book on exactly this issue.
May I also remind people that there is much happening positively in other parts of the world, for example I am a core member of a group of homeopaths running Hom. clinics in Ghana, where we are also negotiating with the ministry of health to set up educational programmes
in homeopathy for Ghanaians, we are also looking at doing some research there. Peter Chappell is doing much good work too - all of this can not and will not be suppressed.
And that's all for now, have written a lot after all, it's saturday so I have a bit more time. May not be able to respond during the week, but will read your contributions. With love and respect, Grace
