Ah now if only I had a perfect memory. So sorry. I seem to recall that the mucus was a red flag and the cell salt was tried on a more or less emergency basis, but that it was confirmed later when more information became available. Don't have the records handy.

I did check that Nat Mur has "as if plug has lodged in throat". But then for "lump in throat when swallowing" - there is Nat Mur, Nat Sulph and Nat Phos. Also if there is a "spasm" in the throat - you could consider Mag Phos which also has "choking in throat" and "suffocative feeling in throat".
