Thank you all who have made suggestions after my question about
"redeye".

Well, by the time I hda got them and decided to try Arnica first, the
redness had started to reced so rapidly that I considered it
unnecessary. Within less than a week all was back to normal.

I am going to put the suggestions into my repertory, however - making
a note where the rubric derives from.

For the information on Diatomaceous Earth I am trying to purchase some in my city.I have been researching and am curious about parvio.So my thoughts turn to how to get them tested ..we have one holistic vet here in Ottawa and the waiting time to see him are up to three months.So am concerned about their initial vaccines.One Vet who is holistic recommended at 6 months for only their core vaccines.Not sure what to do.

One group I would recommend you join is the Yahoo Group Truth About Vaccines. There are a lot of archived files about vaccine issues every pet owner should know about.
As far as Parvo goes, it's recommended you avoid public places that other dogs frequent until they're about 6 months old.
Parvo is a man-made, flu-like virus. It has very little effect on adult dogs. It's always wise to check the prevalence of various diseases in your area, and the only legal requirement for
vaccines is Rabies. If you go on the Agriculture Canada website and check out the prevalence of Rabies, you'll find the biggest vector is brown bats. You have a bigger chance of
being bitten by a bat than your dog. The logical question is, why aren't they pestering humans to have rabies shots? LOL
Vaccines are known to cause neurological damage (esp. Rabies). There is really no such thing as a "killed virus". Viruses are neither alive nor dead -- they are essentially genetic
informaiton (RNA/DNA) that can cause chronic disease.

Avoid the vaccines as much as you can. They do as much damage to animals as to people.
People who naturally raise their dogs are reporting that it is taking 3 generations to undo the damage
from vaccines.
If you would like a group in Canada to discuss these types of issues, try CNRS@yahoogroups.org .
They have some very knowledgeable people in that group who share info on holistic vets, vaccines,
species appropriate diet, packaged food dangers, etc.
